Rec Room Progress

Just thought I'd post a bit of our renovation progress. Craig's Uncle did all the work so far. It looks great!

We got ride of an old door that never got used...and replaced it with a large window. It lets sooooo much light in. It's awesome!

Craig's uncle built the window sills and trim. It matches the original stuff so well! He also drywalled the ceiling. Craig and I scraped the textured paint off the walls that we didn't drywall.

We're ready to paint now!

Stars on Ice...

My guys took advantage of another cold weekend...and hit the pond. Sawyer and I just watched, but Jackson and Connor were on the ice with Daddy. Craig even brought home a polycone to help them keep their balance.

They had a great time!

Great Day!

We had an awesome Friday at our house. Our buddies - Robert, Joe and Mitch paid us a visit. My boys were super excited for it...especially since Robert hasn't been in our most recent visits since he is in Kindergarten.

We had a great time and even planned something a little special. Last week was Miss Chris's (Robert, Joe and Mitch's mom and my best friend) birthday. So, the night before, we whipped up some cupcakes. Connor and Jackson were my big helpers in the kitchen. They put all the ingrediants in the bowl and helped to stir.

After we all ate lunch on Friday, we made some frosting...got out some decorations...and let the boys decorate their own cupcake. They did an awesome job. They wanted to make their cupcakes look like Miss Chris!

So cute! When they were done, they each got a candle of their own...and we sang Happy Birthday to Miss Chris. It was great fun!
