It's been a busy couple of weeks. Of course, it seems that all weeks are busy right now. I've been working a lot of hours...and trying to smoosh the rest of life into a limited amount of time. I'm sure I still woulnd't get everything done if I had 30 hours in each day and 9 days in every week.
Anyway, Mitchell turned four months old the other day. Hard to believe. He is so cute. He started rolling over all the time. The only problem...he can't roll back over. He gets stuck and gets very upset. Its especially bad in the middle of the night when his arms or legs get caught in the crib rungs. He lets us know that he doesnt' like it! He's also getting his first tooth...his still under the gum, but it'll bust out soon, I'm sure. Mitchell continues to be a delight...he is happy and smiley and loves the hugs and kisses his brothers give. He weighs 14 pounds now and loves to eat..though I'm not loving the 2 am feeding he seems to be enjoying.
Connor and Mitchell had to have shots at the doctors last week. Mitchell didn't like his two...Connor HATED his 4. It was ugly. He was a real chatter box until the nurse came in with the shots. Then he screamed. (so loud another doctor came in to see if he was okay). He got over it pretty quick though... however, i did promise him that he wouldn't need another shot for "100s of days". Connor is getting excited for kindergarten and asks frequently when he an go.
Jackson continues to be a real joy. He is so talkative...he loves playing trains...and adores his little brother Mitchell. We actually have to have him alm down sometimes because he gets a little too excited to see him. He is a smart cookie...he knows his alphabet, is picking up numbers, and is starting to sound out words. He really enjoys snuggling too..which makes me happy.
Sawyer is full of vim and vigor. Craig said he may re-name him...to Bam Bam. It seems fitting...he's a big kid with lots of energy and a need to hit things (including his brothers). He's such a cutie pie. We got him news shoes the other day...they light up which he thinks is the greatest. He's starting to talk more...he says ball, bubble, milk, i did it, i got it, mine, and no. at least those are the ones we can make out.
This week will continue our busy-ness. I'm doing "freezer meals" with my girlfriend tomorrow. I'm eager to fill up the freezer with good stuff again. Then Saturday Craig is helping my dad do some yard work. On Sunday, we're having Mitchell baptized...then the whole family is coming back to the house for lunch. I've got a lot to do. (We were supposed to go to the bay on Friday, but that got cancelled...good thing, because I'm already a bit overloaded.)
