and here we are....celebrating Mitchell's birthday. Gosh, where does time go....I channeled a little Martha Stewart for the party. Connor was my big helper with all the crafty..baking stuff. He was also my official taste tester...tough job.
we did cupcakes with special cupcake toppers. The white cup cakes spelled out "Happy Birthday"...the red velvet the Connor, jackson, and Sawyer helped me stamp a design on them.
I documented each month of Mitchell's life by taking a picture of him on the 13th....same chair...same position. I put all of them together in his birthday invitation...which I will attach later...I also displayed them on a clothesline in the play room. I love how it turned out.
So there was one small foible during the day. Do you see it? What can I say...the cake was a freebie. It was good for a few laughs!
The boys and their cousins were so excited to blow out the candles on the cake. Can you see the anticipation on their faces? We had to do it twice...so everyone got a turn!
Here's the birthday boy...he was taking it all in while we sang to him. Too cute!
When we put the cake on his tray...he didn't hesitate..he dove right in! He loved it.
