I Phone Photos

Here are some totally random pictures from my i-phone.
First up,  Connor's gum.
The back story.  A girl on the bus gave Connor bubble gum.  He was tickled, but wanted to show it to Craig.  Unfortunately, Craig wasn't home...so I had to take pictures of it so that Connor could show it off!
The sad news...Connor swallowed the gum about 10 seconds after chewing it.

Here 's a random picture of the boys singing in the Contemporary service at church..
Jackson's pre-school had a Thanksgiving Program at the end of November.  I was working, but was able to stop for a bit.  I forgot our digital camera, but brought the i-phone...and the NEWS 8 Camera!  About 15 seconds of the program aired during the news!

The boys had their annual dental appointments in November.
Sawyer and Connor LUV the dentist.
Jackson...not so much.  But he did look really cute.

I had to snap a pic when I saw Jackson writing his name on the dry erase board.  So cute.

Last Friday, we went to our neighbors house to bake cookies.  (We usually walk together...this time, we baked together.  We'll have to walk more later!)

The boys were a BIG help.  They were the officials taste testers.  They especially loved the Puppy Chow that Rhoda was mixing up.  Yum.
I think Sawyer and Mitchell ate more than she went home with!

I told you it was random.

Misc.

Connor was my big kitchen helper over the weekend.  He helped to put the Hershey kisses into the cookies.  He was also the official taste tester.  If you look at his shirt, you can see he made himself a sign to wear while he was helping.  It said...give me money!  He was quite proud of himself!
While Cononr helped me, the others played on the computer.  They were really into the word of the day!
Sunday the boys sang in church.  This time in their robes.  Precious!
They did Away in a Manger....complete with sign language!

After church we headed to Aunt Lori's to try to get a Christmas card picture for her.
It was a challenge!

Slip Slide and Away

Much to Craig's delight, our pond is frozen solid.  Thanks to the super frigid temperatures we've been having lately, it froze earlier than usual...and is incredibly smooth.  As Craig says, its about the nicest pond ice he's ever seen.  Of course, he wanted to take full advantage.
The boys didn't argue a bit.  They were more than eager to take a spin.  (I, on the other hand, am a nervous nilly about them being on the ice.  UGH!  I am not a fan....I've covered one too many accidents on the ice.)

Connor took to it like a duck to water.  He'd skated a bit last year and really loved getting back on the ice.  Jackson was nervous at first...but it didn't take long for him to be skaing by himself.

Sawyer doesn't have skates yet...so he was in charge of removing the snow from the pond...and sliding around on his sneakers.

I must admit, I got a great deal of joy out of watching the boys having so much fun.  They were so proud of themselves.  It warmed my heart. :)

I overheard Connor and Jackson telling someone at church how cool their Dad was....he could skate faster then anyone!

The most wonderful time of the year

Making gingerbread houses at church is one of our favorite events of the year.
We start with the pizza party...though I doubt the boys could tell you what they had to eat!  Then we dig in...literally...
This was Mitchell's first go at it.  We got him his own house to decorate.
He dug right in!
Each boy got their own frosting bag.  Sawyer used every last drop.  Though I think more went into his mouth than went on the house!
Mitchell could have cared less about decorating his house.  He went right for the goods...and started to gnaw at his house.  Mmm.
Jackson had seen something on tv about making windows out of licorace.  He was so excited to get the chance to put his idea into action.

Connor went into architect mode.  He was so serious and paid attention to even the smallest detail.
Good thing Daddy was there to help out!
As the others boys decorated, Mitchell just kept gnawing.  He did some pretty good damage.
